SG1 to start later this week

Post by wieder »

Probably around the weekend. No exact date can be told since there are lots of variables for setting this up :)

We are currently setting up the scenario for 16 players and also finalizing the ruleset.

The first turn will be 3*23 hours meaning that it's expended. The following turns will be 23 hours.

An e-mail will be sent before the actual game starts.

There will be at least few test games with the map and with the ruleset. The test games will have 3 minute turns and they are fully playable. However they are experimental games and can't be "won" in the traditional sense. The idea is to test the setting before start and see that everything works. We have used a pre-made map in the past but scenarios are new to us. Please be patient while we set up stuff :)

Questions and suggestions to improve the game are welcome, as always :)

Sketlux, there is a small issue with the test game. When the game is loaded, it will add AI players to the game. Is there some spevial way to load the .sav file or does it need fixing? Are some of the players defined as AI ones?

I just turned on the game to run a simulation. It is not my intention to have an ai in this game.

Ok. Should I need to edit out some lines from the save file? I'll try checking that.
