Hello to everyone.

Last time i played the server was older, so since as i check 2.5 use different ruleset
i wonder if that applies to LT37 also. I mean the LT37 ruluset is a variation build on top of 2.5 ruleset ? Should i check 2.5 ruleset of which i have no clue?

LT37 is based on civ2civ3 but it's heavily modified and it's so different from the original that making a list of changes is not that easy. Even if all the changes were listed, they would mean little to anyone who doesn't know civ2civ3 and that from both Freeciv 2.3 and 2.5.

I will try to create a list of highlights as before. The easiest way to figure out LT37 is to read the game help. It's up to date and you can already connect to test game at lt37.longturn.org port 5037. Freeciv 2.5 is required, just like akfaew said. There is no harm if you experiment with the test game and it's highly encouraged. No score will be recorded from the tests as they are not competitive by nature. Only experimental. Of course if someone wants to, they can have test battles or try to kill each other on the test games. Those are just not "official" LT games and there are 2 minute turns instead of 23h turns.

LT37 resembles LT36, LT35 and LT34 but there has been changes between the games. If you know one of those you should have a basic idea what it is about. Of course there are also similarities with earlier LT games.

Also it would be interesting to list LT37 rules new to 2.5 not existing in earlier versions of freeciv.

For example i think disasters are 2.5 rule. What means frequency 100 for a disaster type?

Unfortunately I haven't seen a list of Freeciv 2.3 vs. 2.5 feature comparison between the different versions of civ2civ3 rulesets. Another problem is that there is also a Freeciv version 2.4 that was never used on Longturn games. If anyone know how to help with this, that would be really nice.
