The new LT games will typically start once the previous one has ended or is about to end. LT36 started in early January and with the 23h turns the game will usually take something like 150 turns to be completed. The current estimate, a very rough one, is that LT36 might start in May 2016.

However there might be a Ladder Wars game starting at an earlier time. Those are games with less players (maybe 10 in a game) and the beginners are not playing the same game as the veteran players. More info will be available when the admin of the Ladder War games will start the preparations for a game.

As Wieder seems to be unavailable for the time being (I hope he's fine too), I have pushed the changes that were listed here to github.
Now we need to decide what kind of game we want.
Wieder wanted an island game for LT38, so let's go for a continent map for LT37.
How big a map should we go with?
Do you want a team game or a free for all one?

If you have any other setting suggestion, please post them in the thread mentioned earlier.

Any option is fine for me. I am looking forward for LT37. It will be my first LT game.

(I hope Wieder is fine)

After ..some.. time away I'm catching up and will continue figuring out a new LT game. This pause was kind of unplanned but yeah... Stuff happens...

Hi everyone!

Sorry about this super super long delay.

Currently what is missing are the game settings. Map size, map type, start units etc... Those will be announced but meanwhile feel free to comment on those if you have ideas.

I think there was some talk about a smaller map, less cities (space) / player and a considerably smaller science box to compensate this. Maybe a continental map since we have lots of players? Islands scenario would probably start really lagging in the mid game? Of course if there is terraforming, that's not really such an issue in the late game.
