Compiling civserver

Post by pamplina »

Hi!
I want to run my own longturn-like civserver, because I like the LT flavour to play against AI too. But I can't obtain the sources, because the git repository don't work.
Where I can get them?
Thanks in advance

I am also waiting for that. Last time I asked Akfaew, he told me that after the previous server crash they lost the repository. It is a matter for him to reinstall somewhere else (and find the time of course). Our sysops have a lot to do and they are doing a great job to allow us to play this game. Let's just hope they have more resources.

I finally managed to compile and run the server. I'm afraid that it will not be useful to play against AI, because the AI doesn't know well these special rules. You can beat it in ten turns, because all the time it keeps trying to build settlers in cities with 1 and 2 size.
