There will be new picking and the old one is invalidated?

That was a catchy topic but really, a necessary one since there seems to be some major disagreements about the rules.

Anyway, that's how it should be if people can't agree about the dispersion. From my point of view there was no reason to believe it shouldn't be a standard one. All the alterations to the rules are supposed to be announced beforehand. Now some people seem to want to change this from the standard without announcing it before the picking took place.

If we don't know what the rules were, or were supposed to be, it seems that the current picking should be invalidated.

Or perhaps I missed some announcement about changing the rules before the picking started?

Well, I raised the issue and eventually was responded with the following:
1. Hahaha
2. STFU
3. GTFO
(However, one argument was strong: this is taking too much time, the game should start at last.)

It seems that dispersion is set to zero and nothing can be done about it.

FFS will everyone please stop dicking about and start the game already!
If a rule is not written down on this forum somewhere, as the result of a poll or in an announcement by an administrator, so that all players are informed of it, then it does not exist. ..

Are we here to play civilisation or what?

To clarify: I raised the issue of dispersion and did not propose replay picking.

Amen for that.

Yeah, those people saying you that should tell where the change to dispersion was agreed.

If not, then I guess we should use the default dispersion or redo the picking.

Do not ask where, more important is when. When we all thought Duncan is still with us and fulfills his duties.

I am with you, but please, now develop some arguments which will convince people saying "no because no". Actually, you have a week to complete this ordeal.

Please, don't. We can play like that forever.

What new arguments are needed?

Either that rule was changed before the picking started or not.

When was it changed? Was it changed?

Sadly this kind of criticism is not new in Longturn. In fact it occurs frequently.
My advice to the new leaders of team 6 is to take such attacks as part of the psychological warfare used in the game.

The last time I wrote this was here http://old.longturn.org/ltxv-team-game

A decision was taken by some of the captains to change dispersion to 0.
The winners are happy the losers aren't - it is part of the game.

Wieder there is no point in trying to change what has happened now.
The mistake was made when the captains were chosen.
It should have been made clear at the time that the captains had no power to change default settings.
In this game not closing loopholes ensures that loopholes get exploited.

Yeah, sure, and this would be understandable, if it came from the mouth of some team Leader. But the point is, it didn't!
