Hello all,
New here. I'm just wondering how technology works amongst a single team. Is technology limited to the individual player that researched it? Or is technology automatically shared between team members?
Anything else I need to know about technology? (Or LT45 in general?)
Thanks and good luck,

In a team game you have embassy with everyone in your team.
The technology can be traded between the team members. The smartest thing is that everyone will research different techs and then trade those when needed.
You can't get techs by conquering enemy cities. You can't get techs when inciting (bribing) enemy cities.
However there is a 5% chance that you can get techs by stealing with a diplomat/spy. It's a very low chance and will most likely consume lots of diplos/spies so this is not something you probably want to do in the early game.
The techs also become cheaper when someone has them. It's about 3% for each player. That's 100/35. This means that when you research tech X and give it to 6 team members that tech will become about 17% cheaper to the enemy teams. Or 20% if you count yourself + the others in the team. Because of this you may want to delay giving techs until really needed by the other players.
