Maybe in a day or two after getting the final confirmations. Team leaders, let me know when you could be on discord/irc to do that and also if you can provide a list (only to my eyes) for picking order.

For players replacing idlers there is one new thing. The original country is always considered 1 nation and the idler replacements can control 0 + 1 nations and in extreme situations with admin permission a 3rd nations (effectively a 2nd one) for less than a week. The original players can control 1 + 1 and a 3rd one for less than a week. Also with admin permission and for less than a week.

Thanks wieder. Picking players requires some thought, at least on my part since I only played here a handful of times, and being online at the same time is hard, so I'd suggest to go with preference lists and you can reconcile them offline.

What we need to do next:
1) Every captain in the list below sends wieder a list of 26 (31-5) players, in decreasing order of desirability (nothing personal lol), so from the player you want most to the player you want least.
2) wieder assigns random numbers to each of five teams designating the order in which he'll be picking members.
3) wieder goes over preference lists in round-robin fashion and picks available players.
4) for the last round of picking the order will be reversed to give an advantage of having extra players to the teams that were less lucky with the order in which players were picked.
5) wieder publishes teams.
6) team members propose trades to their respective team captains and whenever both captains agree players exchange teams. Not sure how long this needs to last.
7) pre-game starts.
