I have been working on and refining a Trident-based tileset for my personal use in Longturn. You need the small tile sizes of 30x30 graphics to get a good strategic view of the map, but sustained use of Trident graphics is known to cause profuse bleeding from the eyeballs.
I present to you, RoundSquare:
The tiles are distinct and readable, and information is presented in a way that reduces screen clutter.
This makes it actually possible to use this for sustained strategic planning of a LongTurn game.
So far I have only touched the terrain graphics, so the default (and somewhat ugly) Unit and City graphics remain. It's no Amplio, but it'll show you the world.
