Do that! I'll vote for it.

Also this limit will be useless as it was for Travian (there it was 60). We just made daughter alliances and we ruled the world anyway.

Why would it be useless? If there will be more than 10 (or 8) players at the end there will be no end of the game, no winner... Daughter alliences does not help at the end and larger allies can be formed during the game, it is not limited.

There is always players who don't bother with ratings and make their own rules. It has been like that at our local games. If it takes a long time to end then we have just decided that the game ends and usually the biggest alliance declares themselfs winners. (There's of course official winners, too, but that doesn't matter much.)

If I am not the only person who thinks it is ridiculous to change the rules after the game has started why am I the only person to cast a withheld vote in these polls.

My opinion is that we should keep the rules in a regular game. The experimental games are the place to find and try better rules. I won't vote for any rule modification in the future.

The previous poll (winners = 10) was supposed to be the final one for LT30. I agree with most posters here that we can't keep on voting, it's time to play the game as it is and postpone other ideas to LT31.

Paveq, I hope you don't mind if we close your poll or disregard its outcome, feel free to make this proposal for LT31 (it was announced here that the previous poll was the final one).

It seems that this vote will fail but I agree. T36 is too late to start a vote on alliance size. An alliance larger than size 8 might have already formed.
