I would prefer that the people who exploited this bug just lose the cash they made, and the improvements (if any) that they made using the cash. However, that's probably too complicated or too difficult to do, so reverting is the next best thing. I voted "yes".

I am against reversion. Much more than just gold happened in the last two turns. If you want to equal the gold give all players 1.7million.

I think that it is a good moment for something bigger:
1. introducing techloss
2. denaying citytrade
3. updating wonders
4. RESTARTING server

No, I'm against!.
Dammed, I would not disclose the bug

If the vote passes, the game will be reverted to turn T0123

To clarify my opposition to this poll. It is about more than gold.
My alliance is in a tech race with dude. We were about four techs behind.
Maho found a hole in their defences and got a spy onto their rails.
Yes he got gold because of the bug but more importantly he got tech.
I followed Maho and I too got tech. We managed to level the tech race.
When Dude says he and I exploited the bug the difference is that I attacked an enemy city and got tech. He attacked his ally by exploiting the statue of liberty bug.
If this poll passes the first person onto the restarted server will be dude and the first thing he will do is close the path that allowed our spies to get in.
This is the main reason I believe that dude is reverting the time on this game. Just like a beginner reloading a saved game when he doesn't get what he wanted out of a goody hut the admin is reverting to a previous state because he lost a battle.

Well, first of all it isn't a 3 day poll, it's a one day poll.
I think we need some clarification on what we are voting for. It is possible the way the polls are now that we could both revert and get 1.7 M gold each. Getting a huge amount of gold does kind of sound like an interesting experiment, but I'd rather save it for another game. And what about Darwin's?
I propose game is suspended until polls close (give at least 3 days). To be clear voting FOR means:
1. Revert to T123. Darwin's becomes Great Wonder. Money bug patch applied.
And voting AGAINST means:
2. No reversion. Techs gained by Darwin's are removed. Darwin's becomes Great Wonder. Everyone gets 1.7 M gold.
...and remove the Gold poll.

I agree to postpone game until votes are tallied, especially with the Darwin's bug. The game cannot go on and reverting moves stinks. I agree and vote with elrik. Restart.

LTex exists to try new features and find bugs. It is natural to restart the game whenever there's a big problem that can not be solved by reverting to a saved game. But I believe this problem can easily be solved by applying the patch and going back a few turns.

I believe, that fixing the bug and not restarting, but turning on STRONG techloss (90%) on both sides + few newcomers, would prevent us from nuke fest in few turns.
Restarting and backing to past is evil!

Maho - damage`s already been done. Few turns without new players and some players will have nukes:) It is too late for such solution. We need to restart:) Even new players will hurt weak ones much more than the strongest. With 3-4k science they can restore all looses in no time.
So we should restart. But we can set more starting settler too:) It will be not so boring then:)

LTeX has been reverted.
If anybody wants to make a poll about restart please make it clear what it's about. And define initial settings (map etc).

I have also applied this diff: http://forum.longturn.org/viewtopic.php?id=37 because of the darwin voyage bug.

If this poll passes the first person onto the restarted server will be dude and the first thing he will do is close the path that allowed our spies to get in.
This was correct.

The 'fix' for the Darwin's Voyage bug is blatantly unfair. The players who already built this wonder get to keep their two tech. The players who would have finished this turn get nothing.

Darwin i out, recent science is out, HooverDam is out, 19 Offshoreplatforms are out techs for that are out........

I suggest we end this game and start a new LTeX game, especially if people are so annoyed about Darwins.

I am not playing this game, so am posting with limited knowledge ... it seems reverted a few turns and plugging a hole in your defenses sounds quite unfair. I think it would be good to try and continue the game to see what other bugs can be discovered.
How about rolling back the game 10 or 20 turns? this lets go for darwin and adjust appropriately their caravans and units etc.

Keep in mind that according to kevin551 every possible action I take is to unfairly gain an advantage. Kevin551 is on a mission to discredit me from the day I took over, so I'd appreciate if you formed your own opinion.
