Re: Victory declaration

Nice map - I browsed it briefly looking for 'star' units. I spotted 3 'star' engineers but no others.
Can someone confirm if this is correct.
If true I would lower the chance to promote workers/engineers once more to reflect how hard it is to get 'stars' of other unit types.

Re: Victory declaration

Actually, promoting workers is fine at the rate we had it here. They do the work, they get promoted, and there is a lot of work to do anyway.

Re: Victory declaration

Nice map Paavo. Thanks for sharing it. How did you do it?

Can whoever got the screenshot of endgame stats share it please?

I will update the rankings this weekend. And I will create the animated map after I get the savedgames from Akfaew.

First changed from Freeciv client that it wont show my cities output/etc (because it would be irrelevant showing those only for me) and  changed  my resolution enough huge by using scaling (On Linux, xrandr --output LVDS-0 --scale 5x10 which scaled 1366x768 resolution to 6830x7680, 8192x8192 is maximum) and resolution was enough for that map, so this time i didnt have to make multiple screenshots and merging them at one. Finally just took screenshot normally and cropped image quickly littlebit.

What that population mean? I had 3,95 million citizens and this sceenshot is saying  101000 ? And btw Is there easy way to calculate how my shields production is one M tons?

Re: Victory declaration

You can increase screen resolution as much as you want in Linux? Nice feature!

Your production is the number of shields per turn you produce.

I don't know how population is counted during game (in demographics) but in the endgame stats it seems to be counted as 1000 people per each city size. For example a size 7 city has 7000 people.
