26.08.14 game crash

Nope. Apparently it's not working for anyone. The server(the machine) should be fine since as far as I have understood, the web server and the game runs on the same  server. It's possible that the game has crashed for some reason and a server restart would do the trick.

As far as I know, saves are taken often enough.

Game crashed, last save is autosave-26.08.2014-14:00:01.sav.gz, I restored it. This was before TC. Turn extended.

Means, today there will be no activity, because as far as I can see the units can not be moved if they are moved before save?

Sure they can. It's just that the turn has not passed yet. Advancing the turn now would shorten it, which is contrary to our rules. It's best to postpone the turn by one day than to shorten it.
