I'm against.

I'm against all forms of limitation of alliances, and also because N/6 is still a huge alliance for N>60.

In fact, if we consider that half of the players will be idlers, then N/6 = more or less NonIdlers/3 : in LT30 it would have been a giant alliance of some 15+ players.

Maybe it would be much better N/10 or N/15, or even better Sqr(N), which would result in a not huge alliance in case N>100, and still a powerful force if N<50.

It is N/6 (not 6). If we have 60 players then this will result in up to 10 winners. I think it is too high, but it is better than no limit...

I also think N/6 is still a very large limit for alliance size but there was no option for multiple choice votes. It seems the vote will easily pass. So, I've opened another poll on whether to decrease the limit to N/10. If both votes pass, it'd be logical to apply the stricter limit (N/10).

If the number of the winners is limited to N/10 or N/6, it would be good to know what the N is before the game starts. Currently we have 43 (?) players confirmed and 142 players listed in the players list. So, the N would be 43 if nothing changed?

If so, would we have max winners alliance size of 4 or 5? Maybe 4 with 43 players. What if we had 45 players? Would it be 5?

Also, what will happen if new players will join the game after it has started? Will the max grow? Or will the N/10 or N/6 rule apply only when the game begins?

Nobody can join the game after the start.

I like monamipierrot's formula, Sqr(N) by excess.

N=number of players at the start of the game. We will know it on the 1st turn. As I mentioned in the 2nd poll, N/6 or N/10 will be rounded to nearest integer.
