bump boat movement

It seems boats did not get their movements trippled. I'll tripple their moves tomorrow unless somebody objects.

Re: bump boat movement

No objections, as that is the way it has been forever.

johnhx, Yes that is the way all other LT games have been played with all units getting 3X movement points, including ships.

A unit that disembarks from ship to land uses all of it's remaining movement points.  Unless moving into a city and unloading, which cost zero MP.

Re: bump boat movement

cgalik. Thanks for the explanation. If the ship movement has always been 3x then I withdraw my objection. It does mean I need to review my defence strategy, or lack of. I was relying on having enough time to react to ships arriving. Sorry about that. This is my first game of Longturn.

Re: bump boat movement

johnhx, You're welcome and no worries.  You do get one turn of warning before an attack can come from the sea, because they have to unload. How much more do you need?  smile
