Start Date

Due to Christmas and New Year's holidays, I propose that we plan to either start LT30 before mid-December or after mid-January.

We have a good player list so I think we can start it quite soon (in a few days?). That way the game will be well underway by Christmas, so by then we can decide if we have a vacation break or continue through the vacation.

I was hoping we could wait until we have at least 60 players. I made a signup rate plot, if new players stop signing up we'll start.

Also give at least a week for polls on landmass etc. Keep in mind I imported the settings from LTeX, where science cost is 200% and the city radius is increased, a poll about this should also be held. Let's also try out the new veteran levels in LTeX, maybe we could use them in LT30.

Let's not rush it, I think mid-January is a better choice.

That makes sense. Personally I'm not in a hurry, but I know some players lose interest if they have to wait too long. Maybe right after Christmas vacation, like the first days of January?

/off-topic: if we're going to wait a while before the game start, maybe a scenario game to keep us busy?

I dont't mind playing through Chistmas but delaying it doesn't bother me either, since I'm playing in the finnish longturn allso. I still quite anxious to play this game too
