How many nations can be controlled by one player?

For how long time to exceed that limit by one player? (I'm sure this is needed sometimes)

And how to deal with late joiners replacing idlers?

Its really hard to manage more than two nations at once. I was on 3 for a bit in LT44 and it took a good deal of time and was really able to do all 3 justice. I think a late joiner can pick up an idler at any time.

IMHO 2 nations max should be fair. Obviously it is unfair when one good player manage all 5 team nations vs one very good player cooperating with some average players.

Yes, +1 is the most fair. However, I’d lift the limit for very short periods of time, like weekends, max 2-3 turns, because they don’t really make a difference and it saves the trouble of manoeuvreing with delegations.

As for newcomers, as long as thereis a free nation, why not?
