Should the workers and engineers be able to pillage improvements?

Post by wieder »

This feature is now possible with the LT40/LT46 rulesets but not with the traditional one. This is a feature we have from Civ2Civ3 and it was only changed for the more experimental LT40.

Would you like to see this feature on the next traditional game?

Good idea, but is it possible to restrict it to own/no man land?
Why to even pillage own land? Remove all these old fortresses at the back of already conquered towns.

Probably not possible but then again workers can be captured and military units already can pillage anywhere.

People may want to pillage roads that might fall into enemy hands. Or something else. Pillaging farmland into irrigated only also makes sense since that way you may get extra gold with super highways.
