However be warned that while the signups will be closed at that time, the actual game may start a day or two after that. Once the signups are closed the players will be placed on two teams and that + final start tests may take some time.

Yes. This is a feature from sign up system. I forgot to re-schedule before there were less than 2 weeks remaining. The confirmations will be available when there is less than 2 weeks to the start.
