A new test game for LT36 will be started soon

Please comment here stuff you think should be changed from the current ruleset.

I think the first test game went reasonably well and no fatal errors were found. At lest errors I know about :D

Bridges in all cities will be probably brought back and the space victory removed since it may not be working correctly. Anything else?

More info.

The test game will be restarted in the weekend.

It would be really great if we could have more people testing teh game and figuring out possible bugs or unwanted features. This would be easier if we were setting up another 2.3 game but since this is the first 2.5 game for Longturn, we need to pay extra attention for testing the ruleset.

The theme for this game is on more early action and more naval operations. It's very likely that the players will start with up to 8 settlers and building a city will take 4-6 population. In short eliminating the enemies in the ancient age should be easier but if you an survive this, playing through the medieval times shouldn't be that hard. In the end game with more modern units and with economical and scientific advances it should be reasonably fast to end the game if that is what the players want to do.

There are probably no strict limits to the alliance sizes. The survivor class didn't work out that well so that may be gone for LT36. If 20 players want to ally maybe that's how this should be played? Opinions?
