Here is a topic for LW1 comments. It will be sticked to the end of a game. End of a game in a meaning LW2 started.
Preferably start of first game is 7th January 2014. We will delay some deadlines for the first time to get this date real. Especialy time near Christmass will not have any urgent deadlines.
We are going to play teamless game.
Tech cost will be not up to x8.
City trading will be off.
Restrict infra in this rules are not good option because of dificulty of finishing players in 37 turns (rules), so it will be preferably off.
Pre-fortress will be fixed or switched off.
Rest of changes will be voted in polls.

Ok,
I think i have a split of players.
It will be three boards:
1st is weteran board - players who have played more then 1 finished game.
2nd are players who have finished one game or playing in LT32
3rd are new players here plus two players from LT32 (2 other players with same ranking went to 2nd board, but they had sign in earlier).
1st:
Remember about time to finish after first complete win.
There was couple of players who had not confirm participation, if they want to play they need to contact me or akfaew ASAP.

Diplomacy can be done after establishing embassy, so you need to send a diplomat to other player then set a meeting and make a diplo action.pamplina wrote:I'm playing LW1c and found that I can't do diplomacy. It's confusing, because it was said that there will be alliances in the game.
I need to check what is going on so i took your nation, please take your nation again by pasting "/take pamplina" in chat window

Situation like in Lw1b bring me a problem "what if":
-What if we have a limit to n players and ally with n+1 or more player will make end ingame.
Preferably: In this situation one of them make a winning post with at least n players, and this once who has above limit has to agree for survivor, if not he is a rebel and game is ending in a draw, because there is not a chance to kill him because game has ended.

One thing you could do is to forbid ending the game and winning with more than the max amount of players allied. Doing that could be allowed but it would automatically mean that the game would end with a draw.
That would still make it possible to have more than the max number of players allied but it would also mean risking a clear draw.
Another way could be making it possible to capitulate with a forum post and making that capitulation post something you can't take back even if you changed your mind about it. In that case there wouldn't be any "what if" situations where someone could prevent the rest of the players from winning that way. This could be tricky because of the editing option on the forum.

I think that the easiest thing to do to addedrim wrote:Situation like in Lw1b bring me a problem "what if":

Code: Select all
set alliedvictory=disabled
The other option is that someone code in a maximum ally rule, but that will probably require quite a bit of work.
