The max number of winners should be 7.

"N=number of players at the start of the game. We will know it on the 1st turn. As I mentioned in the 2nd poll, N/6 or N/10 will be rounded to nearest integer."

Idlers should not alter this number because there will always be some players leaving the game at a random point of time.

If waknuk or anybody else wants to join and take over an idler - pick the idler yourself, for maximum fairness, and I'll replace him.

Maybe you should mail everyone who signed up to LT31 again, seems a lot of players where lost while no game was running.

I didn't receive any email about LT31 beginning sad I gave my main email address.....
On what date the email was sent? I think multiple email should have been sent in 1-2 week in advance, mentioning date of the game beginning.
For example: 1st email = 12 days before game start, 2nd email = 8 days before game start, 3rd email = 3-4 days before game start.

Now how can I join or when can I take an idler's position? I couldn't take over any idlers listed. The server says:
/take: Sorry, one can't take human players in this game.

I want to take place of Shogun. I just want my name and nation to remain what i choose. >>Tuhin . Nation = Bengali (legal nation in ruleset)

Pick the nation you want to take over from the list of idlers. Admin will sort out the rest.

I think it would be a good idea for the idlers to be made into AIs.  That way, if people take over idlers, their nations won't be hopelessly behind and if a player should find an AI it will not be so easily conquered.

I support this idea. May I propose Novice AI? This way they will not - I think - be problematic to smash down if they try to disturb us.

Idlers to AI is a great idea. Would it also be possible for new players to /take any available AIs? Might speed up adding new people to the game in place of idlers.

I played the similar ruleset from the last LTex against AIs and they where suprisingly dangerous.
