The Fall of Kiev

The Chimu, gathering their strength in secret massed a force of 22 Catapults in the northern fortress.  Red Team scrambled to gather defenders to the city, and attempted a failed sally in desperate hope that the Catapults might be captured in one stack.  This did not work.

The Catapults surged forth and in a huge battle, annihilated the defending forces of Kiev.  Russian, Greek, Assamese and Kashmiri, the Chimu made no distinction among the dead.

The great city of Kiev has fallen.

Blue Team has just achieved a well-earned and hard-fought victory.  We now know how much force it takes to capture a city on a hill.
