Hmm, Pirates don't have any other effects? I remember in 2.1 when someone typed /take Alaric ( some barbarian leader ) he was able to see whole map unfogged.

I think it should be better notified and better researched -- for example is it disabled to both directions? It would make more sense if the Pirate Leader could meet if he/she chooses but nobody could initiate a meeting with him.
Even for our latest Finnish game this change came as a surprise to me, too.

Actually there's no need for a poll. We didn't think of this, so it should be corrected.
Yea would be good if someone could check whether the Pirates have any other strange attributes that should be disabled.
