Are the players in this game interested in having a full recording of this game from a global observer perspective released at the end?

Vote yes or no. Will be approved if 2/3 players vote yes.

If approved, a full replay will be recorded, down to unit moves and player actions. After the game is complete, the recording would be released, and a client for replaying would be developed.

You can use iso or non-iso tilesets for any square topo- it might just involve command line flags or editing rc files.

Currently units on sentry orders are only woken up inside a 7x7 box around a unit moving near them, which in lt.org games may be much less than their sight radius. This is a pretty impactful feature that would have a pretty straightforward implementation.

Actually you can't completely prevent GW. The pollution produced in a turn bumps up the climate counters before you can even clean it.

I thought the idea was a teaching game for the weak, given the other settings like gold and tech trading. Personally it's more fun if teams randomly distributed.

I'm fine with blobs, so long as teams are allowed to shuffle positions at T0. More players would probably stay alive longer this way.

I think we should just reboot with reshuffled teams, and cut expected idlers. It's clear that at least half the people in a 2 team game are satisfied with the balance. As long all the good players who are actually going to play are there from the team draft I promise not to complain unless pablo or book come back out of retirement to take an idle hut.

The three players controlling half of the nations on our team have been talking about surrendering for at least two weeks before finally deciding. As team captain, I announced the surrender, and only when it was not graciously accepted, I suicided in game to force Red's hand.
