Do you want to play on LT43 and take an idler position?

There are currently 11 players who have not connected. There is time left with Turn 0 until tomorrow but most likely we will have some idlers.
Reply here or send me a message if you want to take an idler position. The idlers can be given right after T0 so you may only miss one turn. Not that bad with tech leakage and tech trading.

I would like to join LT43 is a idle spot opens up. I am new to LT, but have been playing freeciv vs AI for some time now.

Yes. You are not allowed to control two nations. Obviously.

Alfred is now delegated to corbeau.
jwrober, you now can control yee. Login normally by connecting to a network game. host longturn.org and port 5043. then when you see the game chat and lots of connecting and disconnecting messages, writ ethe following to the chat:
/take yee
Then you should see the nation you can control. Ask for help if this doesn't work.

The idlers are given to the new players. The game mechanics is not perfect here and we just assume the players will not come back. Actual replacements are hard to do because of the manual work.

I am in and was able to do the /take yee command. Is there a way to rename yee to jwrober?

There us unfortunately not an easy way to do that but let's see if there is a moment when the server is restarted. Then it might be possible. The others can however see that you control this nation.
