Restrictinfra ON or OFF ?

Post by wieder »

LT39 will be a more traditional game but on some traditional games there has been restrictinfra on and on some it has been off?

What about tired attack?

Maybe turn both ON or OFF but not just enable one and not the other. Somehow it feels like that's how it has been for traditional games.

Sure. We can also do restrictinfra OFF (hey, Cgalik:) and tiredattack ON.

If you have more ideas for a traditional allied victory game, let me know about them. Let's make this a great game! :)

Actually, there are a few pages of discussion on forum.freeciv.org between me and Pungtryne why restrictinfra ON is more realistic (in my view) ;)

And tiredattack means that you attack with decreased strength, correct?

Yeah, I have been reading that. Interesting read for those who like the subject.

And yeah, tiredattack means that the units will attack with decreased strength if there are less than 1 move left.

haha yeah woeder. I like restrictinfra off, for more action. I think it's too one-sided to have defense be able to use roads and not the offense. But I realize your whole nation can go down in one turn. Otherwise it takes till Alpines for that to be able to happen.
