LT43 test has been started

There are few minute turns so that you can build stuff fast. There is a tech trading bug preventing you from actually trading techs. That will be fixed for the actual game. Easy to forget a setting when that is not usually used here.

Let's see if we can start the actual game tomorrow. The signups are open until close to the launch. The exact time is not known and you can't join (only get an idler position) after the start.

Report issues and other stuff here or with some other way :)

Flagship looks good!
I thought we where going to get some artillery units with bombard capabilities this game, or was that LT42?

I think that was going to be LT42. Or perhaps to the follow up game to the LT40 ruleset.

In the rules of L43 there is no production bonus for the capital under monarchy and despotism? Will trade routes be allowed inside the country?

No trade routes are allowed even inside one's own country. Even that can be exploited with the current settings. Didn't have time to try to figure out this. Instead there is the Marco Polo world wonder that will give everyone +30% trade bonus. For the more military people there is also fundamentalism with new settings. It's not just about choosing between monarchy and republic.

And what about the bonus of shields in the capital of the country? In the web version of civilization, the capital had a bonus in the amount of production + 75% for despotism and + 50% for the monarchy. In the game LT43 will it be?

Dim,

There is a 75% gold bonus for the capital in despotism and 50% gold bonus for monarchy. The granary sizes are the same as they are in the test. 50 is the max size.

The game has a heavily modified civ3civ3 ruleset. Some multiplayer features like small wonders and stuff. Settlers cost 2 population, smaller granary sizes in the start and cities need 3 tiles between them. and the cities also can work on stuff 3 tiles away. The in-game help is really useful.

Hi Soon, I've added you by hand. Anyone else wanting to get it can do it here. People may get in if I'll manage to add them by hand. The player process is not automated anyway but I can't open the actual signups just now.

Tech trade is allowed and there is a 20% cost for the receiver. The same cost applies to gold trade. Trade routes are disabled.

There is no celebration growth. Different govs however have different kind of effects for celebration. For example with democracy you get one extra trade for each tile already producing trade if the city is celebrating. The granary sizes however make it possible to get close to celebration growth once the cities reach size 8-15... depending on the surrounding tiles that is.

You can capture units by attacking them. A warrior attacking a worker will not destroy the worker but instead change the ownership of the worker. However you can't capture a worker if it's in a city or there is a non capturable unit in the same tile.

Catapults and some ther siege units can also be captured. Remember to escort those units :)
