expiring domain - longturn.org

Post by maho »

Hi folks,

As I mentioned year ago, I don't want to hold domain longturn.org. So, this time I hereby announce that I **will not extend it**.

As I mentioned, domain is free to take. First person, which I at least roughly associate with longturn, can get it from me for free.

Hurry up, because it's expiring soon.

I don't guarantee that I will visit this forum, so please touch me at my mail: maho [at] pagema.net

What is involved in taking the domain. Is it just registering it with a registrar? I am willing to do that as it seems the move to .net is being a bit troublesome. GoDaddy here in the US does domain registration for pretty cheap.

If I got it right, the domain registering company is making the process too complicated and also, expired domains are not immediately released, but instead, within a month are sold at an auction.
